DigiMarCon is the one event on this list you reach by Metro. The Loews sits right above the Hollywood and Highland station, and the 2027 edition marks the third April in a row at the same hotel after the 2025 and 2026 runs (Trade Fair Dates tracks the series).
Go in with the right expectations. DigiMarCon is a broad digital marketing conference, so SEO shares the agenda with programmatic, email, social and video. Social Media Marketing World is a social conference first. I still put it on an LA SEO list for one reason: search now happens on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram as much as on Google, and the sessions on social search, video discovery and AI content are where those two worlds meet. It also lands two weeks before DigiMarCon, so an LA team splits budget across both and books zero flights.

LA is a direct to consumer capital, and eTail West is where those brands go. Organic search shows up here as part of the growth stack next to retention, marketplaces and paid media, and the speakers come from large retail brands. For an SEO lead at an ecommerce company, the conversations in the hallways about category page strategy and product feeds are worth the drive into the desert (Search Engine Journal lists the 2027 dates).

The two strongest search events for anyone in Los Angeles both happen in San Diego, a two hour drive or a short Pacific Surfliner ride down the coast.

The UK brightonSEO brand brought its format to San Diego, and the 2027 edition pairs it with Hero Conf, the PPC event, under one ticket. With more than 150 talks, you pick sessions on technical SEO, digital PR and LLM SEO in the same afternoon.
Two money tips. Early prices go up on October 22, 2026, and the free single day ticket by request is the best deal in search conferences anywhere; I would grab one for a junior team member before it disappears.

Ahrefs Evolve is the smaller, more senior room. Six hundred people means you actually meet the speakers, and the 2026 agenda leaned hard into visibility in AI generated answers, technical SEO and content strategy (CMSWire summarised the program). The 2026 edition wrapped a week ago, and Ahrefs has yet to confirm 2027, so sign up for their event alerts if you want in.
What SEO Conferences Near Los Angeles Really Cost to Attend
Ticket prices hide the full bill. I added the drive and hotel for an attendee based in downtown Los Angeles, using the lowest published in person price, $0.70 per mile for driving and $250 a night for a hotel. Anaheim and Hollywood assume a daily commute.

Ahrefs Evolve comes to about $63 per speaker, and you are paying for access to the room, which is a fair trade if networking with senior SEOs is the goal.
Digital Summit Los Angeles: An SEO Conference to Watch
Digital Summit used to fill the JW Marriott at L.A. Live every November, and its 2024 lineup included Mike King of iPullRank and Amanda Natividad of SparkToro (the 2024 recap). Since then the series has toured Tampa, Chicago, Denver and Minneapolis, and Los Angeles has yet to reappear on the calendar.
