MrBeast owns the YouTube like record. His Short Would You Fly To Paris For A Baguette? has 58.8 million likes, 2.0 million ahead of Despacito, per the TubeStats live ranking checked in October 2026.

I pulled the top 50 and ran the numbers myself. Together the 50 videos hold 1.59 billion likes across 118.9 billion views. MrBeast uploaded 20 of the 50, worth 629.2 million likes or 39.6% of the total, a bigger share than all 15 music videos on the list combined (508.5 million).

Quick answer: The top liked video on YouTube is Would You Fly To Paris For A Baguette? by MrBeast, with 58.8 million likes and 1.8 billion views as of October 2026. Despacito by Luis Fonsi ranks second with 56.8 million.

Findings From My Analysis

• The four videos with the highest like rate all ask the viewer for an action in the title. Make This Video The Most Liked Video On Youtube converts 19.3% of views into likes, 28 times the music video average.
• Creator clips earn 2.44 likes per 100 views. Music videos earn 0.68, so a creator clip collects 3.6 times more likes per view.
• Baby Shark Dance has 17.4 billion views and earns one like per 370 views, the lowest rate in the top 50.
• The Baguette Short gains about 41.8K likes a day on average since upload, 2.6 times the lifetime pace of Despacito.
• ToRung added 3.58 million likes since June 2025, the biggest jump of any video in the top 50.
