Facebook is set to add a new feature that would enable the users
to listen to a “ping” sound whenever the user gets some notifications.
This feature is still in testing phase but could soon become a part of
Facebook.
When will you hear the “Ping”
1- When any user sends you a message.
2- When any user sends you an invite.
3- When any user writes on your timeline.
4- When any user invites you to an event.
5- When any user likes your shared posts.
Where to find sound settings?
You can find the sound settings by clicking on account settings
then on notifications. You will see an option named “view”, click on
it and uncheck the box which says “Play a sound when each new notification
is received” .
