You pick a brawler, you pick a skin, you pick a pin. Then the match loads and the first thing nine other players see is “Player8841.” All that effort on looks, and the name gives it away.
Your Brawl Stars username shows up everywhere: above your brawler’s head, in the kill feed, on the Star Player screen, in your club list and on every friend request. It is the cheapest cosmetic in the game and the only one that follows you into every mode.
This page has more than 120 attractive Brawl Stars usernames, sorted by style. Every one fits the game’s 15-character limit and uses plain letters and numbers, so it will display properly on any phone. Names in Brawl Stars are not exclusive, which means you can use any of these as it is or change a letter to make it yours.

Why a Stylish Username Matters in Brawl Stars
Matches last two or three minutes. Nobody reads your profile. They glance at a name and decide what kind of player you are before the gates open.
A clean name earns a little respect in the lobby. Teammates in ranked are more willing to follow the pick of “Vanta” than “xXx_killer_2014_xXx.” Clubs notice it too. Recruiters scroll through join requests quickly, and a name that looks thought-out gets accepted ahead of a default one with the same trophies.
It also makes you easier to find. Friends remember “PocoLoco.” They do not remember a string of numbers. And if you ever post clips or stream, the name on screen becomes your brand, so it pays to choose one you would be happy to see in a thumbnail.
Brawl Stars Name Rules to Know Before You Pick
A few limits decide what you can type. These come from Supercell’s Brawl Stars support pages.
| Length | 2 to 15 characters, spaces included |
|---|---|
| First change | Free |
| Later changes | Cost Gems. The price goes up with each change and tops out at 150 Gems |
| Waiting time | Three days between changes |
| Symbols and emoji | Not recommended. Supercell warns they may not display and can make a name look invisible |
| Banned content | Rude, offensive or political names and personal information. Supercell can reset a name that breaks the rules |
The practical lesson: you get one free shot, so choose a name you will still like after a few hundred matches.

Make Your Own: A Brawl Stars Username Word Bank
Nothing above feels like you? Take one word from the first column, one from the second, and add a finisher if you have characters left.

How to Choose the Best Brawl Stars Username
Read It at Kill-Feed Speed
Type the name, look away, then glance back for half a second. If you cannot read it in that time, neither can anyone in a match. Long strings of capitals and doubled letters fail this test.
Count to Fifteen
Spaces count as characters. A name of ten or fewer leaves room to add a club tag or a number later without paying for a full rename.
Skip the Fancy Fonts
Copied Unicode letters look good in a generator and then show up as empty boxes in the game. Supercell says so itself. Mixed capitals and a digit give you style that works on every device.
Keep It Clean
An offensive name can be reset to a default one by Supercell, and you then pay Gems to change it back. Leave out your real name, age and school as well. A username is public.
Save Your Free Change
The first rename costs nothing and every one after that costs Gems. Test a new name with friends or in a group chat for a day before you confirm it in the game.
FAQs
How Long Can a Brawl Stars Username Be?
Between 2 and 15 characters. Spaces, dots and numbers all count towards the limit.
How Much Does It Cost to Change Your Name in Brawl Stars?
Your first change is free. After that each change costs Gems, and the price rises every time until it reaches 150 Gems. You also have to wait three days between changes. The exact price for your next change is shown in the game before you confirm.
Can Two Players Have the Same Username?
Yes. Names are not exclusive in Brawl Stars. Each account is identified by its player tag, the code that starts with a # on your profile, so you never have to worry about a name being “taken.”
Do Symbols and Fancy Fonts Work in Brawl Stars Names?
Some do and many do not. Supercell advises against emoji, special characters and non-Latin letters because they may not show correctly and can even make a name appear blank to other players. Plain letters, numbers and simple punctuation are the safe choice.
Can Supercell Change My Name?
If a name breaks the rules, the moderation team can replace it with a default one. Support will not rename you on request, though. You change your own name from your profile.
What Makes a Username Look Stylish?
Short length, clean spelling and one clear idea. A single strong word, or two words that sound good together, will look better than anything padded with extra letters and symbols.
