Increasing website traffic is significant because the biggest reason for the failure of a website is the lack of traffic. 

There are several reasons for low traffic like free web hosting, low-quality content, slow loading speed, and poor website structure. Beginners don’t consider these points while creating a new website and that’s a big mistake.

There are several techniques to increase website traffic for a newly launched website. If you follow these tips, you can quickly acquire new customers for your business. 

Here are top ways to drive traffic to a new website:

1- Upgrade Old Blog Posts

If you have old blog posts, then you have an opportunity to generate lots of traffic. Here is the strategy you need to follow:

  • Changing outdated screenshots,
  • Removing information and data that is no longer in trend,

In our case, I have updated the blog post containing a list of alternative search engines other than Google and turned the list into 40+ search engines.

Click To Tweet is the best way to get more social shares on your content. Click To Tweet is a process in which you add a link on any particular line in your content to allow users to share that line on Twitter.

First of all, you need to find something in your content that is worth adding a “Click To Tweet” link. For example, you can find any quote, tip, strategy, or statistic.

For example, my post contains inspirational quotes. So, I can consider each quote as a “tweetable” source:

Once you find your list, the next step is to create a “Click To Tweet” link. For this, you can use the ClickToTweet tool.

The tool allows you to manage how your tweet looks. You get a special generated link that you can add to your page. After that, whenever someone clicks on this link, they will get a pre-formatted tweet.

3- Use LSI Keywords

The next great way to generate traffic is to optimize your content for LSI keywords. Semantic keywords also help Google understand your topic. 

LSI keywords are words and phrases related to your seed keyword.

When Google sees all these keywords in your content, Google thinks that this content is surely about social media.

First, you need to find relevant questions related to your website niche on Quora.
