- Sign In to Gemini Apps: Go to gemini.google.com or open the Gemini mobile app. Only users who are 18 or older can access this feature, so make sure you are signed in with an eligible Google account.
- Upload the File You Want to Summarize: Tap Add file and select the document, slide deck, or Deep Research report you want to convert into an audio summary. Gemini Apps supports multiple file types to accommodate different content formats.
- Generate the Audio Overview: After uploading your file, tap Generate Audio Overview. Gemini’s AI system will process the content and usually takes around 3 to 5 minutes to create the audio version.
- Continue Working While It Processes: You don’t have to wait during processing. Gemini allows you to leave the chat and start other tasks while the Audio Overview is being generated.
