Schema.org Article Markup
In order to identify the important parts of the article and for better detection of quality articles by the algorithm, schema.org article markup is necessary. Google suggests, that you must use the following attributes:-
Headline – The headline of the article.

Alternative Headline – The alternative headline (a secondary title) of the article.
Ex- <h1 itemprop=”name alternativeheadline “> Alternative Headline goes here….</h1>
Image – Url of an image of the item.

Date Published – Date of the first publication.

Article Body – The actual body of the article.
Google Authorship
It helps to associate the content on the web page with a particular author. This helps the algorithms to detect high author rank authors and also helps them to display author information in the search results.

If the web content is divided into many parts then it should be properly divided and paginated.
