Why Checking Google Rankings Of Your Website Is Essential?

Checking the rankings of your website in Google and other search engines is essential because of the following reasons:

  • If you know the pages on your site that rank highly on Google, you can easily redirect the important pages before redesigning your website. This will prevent any loss of organic rankings and traffic.
  • Regularly keeping track of your website rankings helps you to update your existing content and further optimize them to improve or maintain the rankings.
  • You have an idea of the low-hanging opportunities, which are pages that already rank for certain keywords in the second or third page of Google. You can optimize them quickly to gain the first-page positioning on Google.

This will restrict the need to browse ten pages to cover 100 positions. Instead, you can browse the top 100 websites on a single page.

Final Thoughts

You can choose any of the methods discussed above to check your organic rankings on Google. If you ask me which tool I use and recommend, then I will say, Google Search Console and Serprobot. I personally like these two tools because of their features and function. Also, both of them are free to use, and you don’t have to buy any premium subscription.

But, if you need a paid tool, then I will suggest SEMrush and Ahrefs because by using these tools, you can also be able to do other stuff like site audit, keywords research, backlink analysis, and lots of other work. You can choose any tool or method of your choice from the above list. I tried to include every tool that is good enough to use.
